Till DEATH do us part

Well,I'll be talking relationships today. I read two articles on Bella Naija about two women who lost their lives in their marriages due to the fact that they decided to stick to their marriage vows 'till death do us part' and that really got me thinking about the marriage institution...  These women who lost their lives were victims of husband battery and so many women are going through that in their marriages but the church keeps preaching that divorce is a sin and encourages them to keep praying and endure their marriages....(Is that really the solution?) and thanks to our culture which frowns against married women leaving their husband's houses and going to leave with their parents. But seriously, I know I may be too young to talk about marriage and all, but should a woman lose her life just because she wants to keep her vows and not be an object of ridicule in the society. Should she die for the sake of love? Marriage should be enjoyed and not endured, not to talk of enduring battery that might end up taking your life. Let's think about dis and please share ur opinions.

Wow! 236 days of HEAVY rainfall

When I read about the rainfall in the papers, I got scared for Lagos, my family and loved ones because last year so many people lost their lives and properties due to the heavy flooding that occurred in the State. And this year God has decided to bless us with 236 days of Heavvyy rainfall. Experts have predicted it that the rainfall will commence on March 22 and end November 10, and I believe we've started seeing the signs.
I believe the government is working towards it to make sure that we have a 'floodless' Lagos dis time around buh let's also take caution ourselves as we can't leave the government to do everything. Pleaseee clear your blocked drainage to ensure free flow of water and let's try not to be out in the rain when it's really 'heavy' Love u guyz. ;)

Hellos

Well, this is actually my first post and I do have mixed feelings about this blog. I don't really wanna have a blog but as a final year Mass communication student, I think it's necessary and thanks to Mr Alao who made it compulsory for his course" Online Journalism". That's actually the sad part about it because I'll be graded at the end of the day. Please I really do need your comments on my posts whether am being stupid, dry or foolish. But I'll try my best not to bore you though, and give you juicy gists you need to hear. Pleaseeee... feel free to leave a comment. Thanks
